Call To Attraction (C2A) is a pop/rock/alternative band based out of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Ryan Wood (Lead Vocals/Guitarist/Songwriter) formed the group in mid 2008 with his brother Dylan Wood (Drums/Vocals). “My signature is combining catchy melodies with tight harmonies in every single song.” says Ryan. Memorable songs and a strong rhythm section solidified the name Call To Attraction in thePittsburgh music scene. Through many line-up changes, the band came together with members, Josh Perrone (Lead Guitar/ Vocals) and Joe Mahoney (Bass/ Vocals). Together, the four members put on an amazing live performance and have the audience singing their songs well after the show.

I sing and play guitar in Call To Attraction! I started writing and performing music when I was 15 years old. I wrote my first batch of songs when I started high school and started the band, Call To Attraction in August of 2008. I grew up listening to The Beatles, Blink 182, Sum 41, The Rolling Stones, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Simple Plan and Green Day. I listen to all kinds of music ranging from the pop/punk/rock to heavier bands and some rap. Really any kind of music with a good hook will grab my attention.
Being in Call To Attraction with my best friends is the highlight of my life. Every show and every fan really makes this worth the world. Nothing is more inspiring than to see a new C2A fan falling in love with the songs. Words can’t describe how it makes me feel. What I can say is, expect a ton of killer new songs in the future. I’m growing as a multi-genre songwriter, audio engineer and producer. I couldn’t be happier! Thanks for the support!!!
I am the lead guitarist and backing vocalist for Call To Attraction. I have been playing guitar, drums, singing and writing music since I was young. I started out learning drums when I was 9 and gradually moved to guitar. After taking lessons for a few months, I knew that music was going to be a big part of my life. Naturally, I started writing and recording my own songs. All different types of music inspire me. I grew up listening to oldies and classic rock such as The Beatles, Boston, Elton John, and STYX to name a few. I later got myself into more of a pop-punk genre listening to Blink-182, Sum 41, and Simple Plan. I also listen to metal/hard rock like Avenged Sevenfold and Bullet For My Valentine, and even some Hip-hop like The Beastie Boys and The Lonely Island (comedy). Call To Attraction has been a blessing to me. I get to write and perform music with my best friends, and I’m so excited for what we have in store!
I play bass guitar in Call To Attraction. I have been playing bass for 5 years. I can play a little bit of guitar and percussion, but we don’t like to talk about that. I’ve been into music as long as I can remember. Growing up I listened to a lot of Led Zeppelin, ACDC, The Who and The Beatles. Since I joined Call To Attraction in February 2011, my influences progressed to Simple Plan, Blink 182 and The Summer Set. From their melodies, to their choruses, these bands provide music that I and the band love. I love taking the great opportunities we are given and having the chance to play music with my best friends.
